With all of the headlines and buzz at this years IAAF World Championships focused on Justin Gatlin and whether or not he would be able to finally upstage his long rival Usain Bolt, South Africa's Anaso Jobodwane managed to unassumingly creep underneath the radar of most sports fans, and scoop up a 3rd placed finish in the 200m final. Jobodwane put in a phenomenal run in an extremely competitive field to win the Bronze and managed to break SA's National record along with his previous Personal Best with a time of 19.87 secs. No doubt this medal will hold a special place in Anaso's trophy case seen as though he only just narrowly beat fourth-placed Panamanian Alonso Edward, the two's respective times were 19.861 and 19.863 seconds.
