Earlier today the Springboks announced their starting XV to face Japan in their opening fixture of the 2015 World Cup this Saturday. After receiving a good deal of criticism by the South African public on the squad selection, Springbok staff seemed subsequently unfazed as they named the team. The fifteen set to face Japan at Brighton Community Stadium has a cumulative collection of 880 caps and does not include youngsters like Eben Etzebeth and Siya Kolisi.
