As the old saying goes "You wait ages for a bus and then two come along at once". Well, today we are going to bring you 5 of those buses (Metaphorically speaking of course). With the RWC edging ever closer we have narrowed down the toughest players to tackle in open play. Compiling the list wasn't easy, so there were some obvious candidates left out. Anyway ,without further ado here you have them, the best of the best...the bosses of bounces...the fundis of fends...the sheikhs of shrugs:

5). Willem Alberts - South Africa

The Bone Collector himself kicks off the list. The video below shows how he got his nickname...Mark Richards was fortunate to only walk away with a slight concussion after this collision.

4). Duane Vermeulen - South Africa

Duane Vermeulen A.K.A Thor has some insane upper body strength, just ask Aaron Smith.

3). Opeti Fonua - Tonga

Anyone who shames Jonny Wilkinson is a hero in my book. Opeti Fonua did just that and Tonga international has a history of shrugging off defenders like Zuma does Nkandla allegations.

2). Alesana Tuilaga - Samoa

Anyone of the six Tuilaga brothers could have made this list. Nonetheless Alesana is 177 Kg's of proof that Samoans aren't to be trifled with.

1). Julian Savea - New Zealand

I don't think this man needs an introduction, Savea is easily one of the toughest people to tackle in world rugby.

No doubt you will see some of these names embarrassing a defender or two in the coming weeks. Tacklers best get low and pump their legs or they could be getting told to "Catch the next one, this bus is full."
